ABOUT THE M.A. (Photography)
School of Still Photography intended to train and direct the students in all the major field of photography. MA – Photography, the two-year degree Course covers principles of photography, photojournalism, Advertising, fashion, architect, fine arts photography, along with Industry Internship, Research that will give the students the exposure to step into the professional world of photography.

Student Projects
All our programs are specially designed to ensure that every student is continuously imparted with relevant practical skills. Throughout the course, the students are provided with following projects
- Students will be able to understand various methods and process which allowed the modern-day photography to be called the advanced technology
- Students will be able to acquire the knowledge about the corporate culture, its working so that they can easily befitted in any MNC around the globe
- This semester, students will learn the theories and principles upon which the photography is being done.
- Students will learn the basic physics of lighting which would help them understanding the complex working of lenses.
- Students will learn from various high-end image editing software so that they can get the photograph retouched with ease.
- Students will learn communicative English to get a holistic growth for the rapid growing industry of the world
- Students will be learning the techniques and methods of capturing image in an advertising industry.
- Students will grasp the information regarding various applied genres of photography such as: Astro photography, infrared photography, etc.
- Students will be able to capture stunning images of fine arts and design.
- Students will learn the concept of photojournalism and will also get well versed with the various techniques and code of conduct to be a photojournalist
- Students will learn the advance creative post-production techniques with would enhance the ability from retouching to recreating a photograph.
- In this semester student will learn capturing the shimmering world of fashion and lip-smacking delicacies in food and fashion photography
- Student will also learn the various advanced genres of photography like Arial photography, forensic photography, sports/action photography, etc.
- Students will be getting the knowledge about capturing the portraits which help them seize the emotions.
- Students will be taught about the digital video production and visual post-production using high-end Equipments and techniques
- Students will learn the ability to research, to find new dimensions, to find solution to various problems.
- Student will be assigned projects which would upscale their work and to be kept as portfolio.
- Students will be designated with the dissertation projects for their partial fulfillment of their degree.
